85b 235 flywheel removal help

"Morton...a bit off the subject of flywheels here, but I have to get the upper main bearing out of the crankcase head of a 1996 V6 200 hp looper.
Will that press out easily without breaking the crankcase head, or will your heat/cool method allow it to drop out?"

"If you want to remove a roller/needle bearing, you will have to remove the rollers/needles first to be able to go straight at the race.
As for the top bearing, which is supposed not to be replaced separately, most important is to heat the housing to about 220C, freeze the bearing and drop it in. Watch the lubrication hole!"
