85 omc sterndrive stringer clutch

Ok I have the clutch shaft. It's the one with the hole in it. My question is are the clutch disks and Belleville springs, thrust washer and and bushing the same size for all the other clutch shafts. Basically can I take all the clutch assembly parts off a different clutch shaft and put them on mine? Hope I made sense.
 
We need more information.

What is the model number. What are you working on, and what problem are you trying to solve?

Are you talking about the shifting rod? In the outdrive? What do you mean by the one with the hole in it? Can you drop a part number, or circle it on a parts diagram, or drop a photo of the item you are talking about?
