85 hp Johnson Javelin

Hello, I'm a first time user I have an 85ETLR76g. Most of the parts are available for my motor and it runs great. Question I have is the hydraulic trim pump is not there and there is noting available for it so is there anyone out there that would know of a external pump which I could hook up to run the tilt and trim on my motor. Any help would be apreaciated Thanks

CMC Pt130 or panther makes an aftermarket tilt and trim probably your best bet. Is the unit on you your motor tilt and trim or just trim.

Does anyone know what years the 85 HP Javilin were made. Just bought one and the model and serial are illegible. The plug thats normally on top with the number is no where to be found on this engine. If I know when they were made it will help me to compare parts and determine at least a range of years.

They were marketed in the 78 to 1980 model tears.-----Just special styling decals.-----I have the parts / pieces of a 100 hp model-----Posting a picture helps.
