85 hp johnson hydro-electric impeller replacement

I just picked up a free boat, it's a 70's something 16 ft. Shell lake boat co. tri-hull with a 85 HP Johnson with power tilt trim on it. It has the hydro-electric shift. It has been setting for 19 years and the motor was stuck when i got it. I soaked the cylinders with ATF a few days and got it freed up. After a little figuring out whats what I got it running by hot wiring it, as i didn't get any keys with it. It seams to run fair and I think I need to put an impeller in it before I try taking it out on the water. Not sure how to tell if it is pumping as I didn't see a place the water would come out. I hooked it up to a hose with a set of muffs and it ran fine and didn't overheat, but I don't know how to tell if it is pumping water or just staying cool from the water pressure of the hose. Does anyone know how hard it is to change and where to get the parts for it?/ A video on it would be great if there is one out there somewhere. The shift is not working as of now as someone has rewired it to a switch on the dash and it doesn't seam to work. So I need to figure that out as well. Tnx for any help and or advise. If you would like to see it run check out my facebook post.

The water pump impeller is available right here on this site.------Not hard to change out in my opinion.----Doubt it gas a TRIM function.-----Most of those are a tilt unit only.

Make sure you disconnect the shift wires beside the powerhead and tie something to them to make it easier to pull them back up before removing the lower unit. I suggest looking at the pump before ordering parts. If it still has an aluminum pump housing, order a complete water pump kit that has the updated plastic pump housing with stainless steel liner. A much better pump.
