"I can't find the serial #, missing part of the motor cover- #'s off the carbs are WM5-3 and WM5-1---# off the part the carbs bolt to is 962-6454-- # off the part the spark plugs screw into is 1021-3514-- can anyone help? Thanks in advance!"

"That's an easy one Ken - the 85 Mariner was ONLY produced for the 1977 model year and then Merc scrapped the 85 horse all together...

The serials for this model would fall between 4731898 thru 4842728 if you are trying to look up parts online..

It is just a 4 cylinder, 85 Merc in the Mariner flavour - so parts from any Merc will fit.."
