85 150 black max fuel pump

heres the story. got the boat from a friend of mine. been sitting year are so had few gallons fuel with additive. me being cheap i topped it off an took it to the lake. ran like a champ for about 30mins are more then started to bog an wont run above high idle are so.comp looks good an changed plugs,drained carbs, new fuel line an drained fuel tank. same problem. today i ran by the shop an hook it up on the hose an like to never got it started which is unnormal. i unhooked the fuel line to pump there was plenty gas when primmer was pumped so i hooked it back up an then unhooked line from carb primed an spun it over didnt get lot of fuel even if i pumped primer while cranking. am i pose to get steady fuel like any other typical pump. btw when its running on hose it pops on acc an smokes alot.mix is 50:1. thanks

There'sno mention of pulling fuel/water separator or fuel filters. Old should have been dumped and or siphoned out, Gunk is more than likely inside of carbs. Step 2 see if you have spark, Use an open air gap spark test ,a lighting blue snapping spark should be visible
