84' Quicksilver 470 Mercruiser

hello all, I'm currently remodeling a 1984 Webbcraft with a 470 Mercruiser that is using a quicksilver throttle. The side panels are rotted out and I'd like to reupholster them, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the throttle off. Anyone worked with these before and have some pointers?

Put throttle lever in 12:00 position.
At bottom of lever there is a hole.

Use a 5/32" allen wrench to loosen 1/4-20 set screw.

Once loose enough handle will pull away.

You also beed to remove lever cover (where square trailer button is) and disconnect wires ( pin, socket).
