I have had a long post/discuss

I have had a long post/discussion subject Battery. I have had a lugging /start problem and a will not crank problem after 30-45 minutes of running. See the post to catch up on all the great information given.

I believe it was Steve Sweeten 04/29/09 that suggested I check my coolant. I did and I am loosing coolant not a lot maybe 1 pint to a quart. What are my next steps to confirm it leaking into the engine and what is the fix? There does not appear to be any in the oil and I do not find any in the bilge.

The joy of rebuilding an old boat!

"Larry,
Pressure check the system and check the cap. If the system will not hold pressure and no coolant is in the oil, you may have an internal leak in the heat exchanger. This would allow the coolant to leak into the cooling water. On the other hand it could also be a failing head gasket.
Good luck."
