"need to know how tobtell if gauges will work propperly for the 84 115 vromotor i have...seems i can't get the propper stuff ...boat came with mercury tach and tilt/trim gauges which will not work on the evinrude...tried to change the setting thing on back of tach ,but still no read...thanks mark"

"Mark- I suggest that you do a search for an eBay lister named "Sea Chest" located in Fla.
I recently bought several new matched OMC "red ring" style gauges from this seller, they were all new/surplus but in very good condition.
They are contemporary to the age of the center console boat and engine that I'm restoring and I was very pleasded to get them as a matching set.

There are many others selling OMC instruments on eBay of course but I'm recommending this vendor only because of the satisfaction that I've had with their service and co-operation in shipping to Canada.
My experience tells me- try to avoid buying used instruments, it can get ugly!
