If it is black and gungy its o

If it is black and gungy its only partly burnt oil from the fuel and is not normally anything to worry about. Normal in fact.
If it is obviously clean gear oil then you have a seal leaking. A pressure/ vacuum test is the pukka way to diagnose but if coming from behind the prop most probably the seal(s) on the prop shaft. They are easily damaged by fishing line.

It would be sensible to check your LU oil for signs of water ingress.

The little bit of oil that is

The little bit of oil that is coming out is black and gummy and smells like gas/exhaust. No signs of clear gear oil. Thanks for the info cause I thought I was in trouble with foot problems.
