"Ok guys, it's been a whil
"Ok guys, it's been a while since I've had any problems with the boat, you guys info helped me tremendously with the fixing and saved me a ton of money by me being able to do it myself with your help. The problem is with the tilt and trim on my '83 johnson 140 v4.. It works fine on the water with the up and down.. when I go to trailer my boat and tilt the motor up to keep it from hitting bottom-give it some gas to get it onto the trailer, the motor just falls completely down into the fully down position. What could be causing this problem? Like I said It doesn't do this when you're going down the lake and tilting and trimming the motor---just when it's under the pressire of getting the boat back onto the trailer. I don't have hardly any of the runners out of the water when loiading the boat. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!"
