82 Merc 260 engine kill switch?

This 82 rebuilt 260 was installed in an 87 Centuion Dominator. Engine, ignition and carb all recently rebuilt. Engine starts and sounds healthy for about two seconds and stops cold. Ive been chasing this for a couple weeks. Does anyone know of a random shut down switch and where it would be located? Ive tried to find an oil pressure cut out, no luck. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

That is actually my question. Its getting fuel, its getting spark. Its starts strong and immediately dies. Like its got a kill switch. I cannot find it if there is. Once it dies you have to give it a few. Hit it again and it does the same thing. Starts strong and immediately cuts out.

Do you have 12 v coming off key to purple coil wire when key is put in run after it starts? Suspect not it’s getting spark when cranking but not when key is in run
