I am currently cleaning out a 90 hp evinrude exhaust. It sat for over a year and the salt sried and clogged it. It ran fine for a while then started to piss steam. so i now have the heads off and the exhaust takenapart. its cleaned out, but i was wandering if there was something that i can use fluid wise, other then water. that i can spray in the passageways to clean them out even more since i have it all apart right now??

Just scrape out the loose carbon and vacuum it out. Inspect your piston rings carefully ( these motors are famous for broken rings ).-----------Inspect thermostats and poppit valves.----------Replace waterpump impeller.-----------Replace water deflector / guides in water jackets and re-assemble.

So I cleaned it all out, installed a new water pump. now i am ordering all the gaskets and both outer plates for the heads. they were corroded so bad on the inside i need to replace them. so in a few days i shoud be good to go.
