"I have an overheating problem

"I have an overheating problem, Marina has changed impellor yet port engine runs 10- 15 degrees hotter than starboard engine. I have checked inlet holes for blockage on drive unit. Are ther any other areas I should check for obstructions? Thanks for the help?"

"IS your engine raw water cooled and has the previous impeller come out with some broken vanes? If so, some pieces of rubber could be stuck in the thermostat housing."

"John, you may also want to check the oil cooler. Last week while fishing I noticed my temp. gauge start to creep up. The cause ended up being an amount of seaweed partially blocking water flow through the oil cooler. Once removed the engine went right back to normal temp."
