idles runs smooth, but with throttle wide open no power, but still runs smooth, just not enough tork to load on trailer thanks for any help

Most likely only running on 1 cylinder.
Pull 1 plug wire off at a time & see which cylinder is dead. Then troubleshoot if spark is present or not.
