79 evinrude 35 model # 35902a lower unit stuck.

removed the five bolts and the shift rod bolt. I can get a gap at the back of the lower unit but the forward end seems like its stuck at the stud, I have put lubricant on and wire brushed the threads to let it slid off easily, I have put shims in the gap and ran the motor and still no movement, I am at a loss for what to do next. WHAT AM I MISSING .

Thanks kimcrwbr1 for the insight, I will give it a try.
I thought I missed a nut or inside bolt reread the manual about 4 times. boy she is a stubborn one.
 
finally came apart (stubburn bitch) trans fluid on front stud, electric heat gun, plus run motor once a day, one carb
bowl of gas wouldnt let it get to hot and alot of patience. now the easy part starts.
