hi all new to this forum i have a 14 ft boat with a 79 evinrude i took it out once and it runs ok except at a idle it was missing and sputtering some, so i took the engine cover off and noticed a wire was off and taped up. the wire goes what appears to be a idle or throttle control solenoid so put the wire back on and ran it in my driveway and it seemed to run the same, so should i be worried why would someone take that wire off any suggestions also there is a inline fuse holder on the other side of the engine near the top and someone put a longer 20 amp fuse in it does anyone know what amp fuse that should take thanks
 
thanks for the reply compression good 125 and 130 i have ran it a few times it runs good just misses at a idle some. after a closer look that is a choke solenoid.
