" It idles and revs fine until you break a certain point. Once there it sticks for about 4...5 seconds and then slowly returns to the throttle position. It was running fine until i removed the carbs, disassembled them, cleaned everthing, and put them back together (using the old gaskets, inlet needle valves and seats.)The boat sat up for about 6...7 months before i did this. Could it be that the inlet valves were swapped around or that they were moved from the position they had operated in for six years? I ask this because the cheese clymer repair manual says they are a matched set. "
