" My tilt and trim motor is working but will shut off afer a few seconds. If I let it sit for a couple of minutes, it will work for a few seconds more and then it shuts off again. It does it when I'm putting it up or down.

Any suggestions?

"There's a circuit breaker inside the electric motor, and apparently it is cutting out. This would be due to either a huge currect draw by the electric motor (electric motor problem), or a loose cable somewhere which would be causing a voltage drop. The voltage drop could also be caused by a tight but dirty (corroded) cable.

First thing to do is to check all of the cables, clean and tighten them. Use a wrench or pliers to tighten, not your fingers.
