76 Merc 20hp

Just bought a 1976 Merc 200 and I need a foot and was wondering what foots would work from what years to what hp. Thanks

I am pretty sure only the model 200 foot will work with that motor. Look on ebay for a good used one.

Not sure where the break came, but early 60s Merc 200 LUs are different. The later ones are all interchangable, however. Look on eBay. Not cheap!

Jeff when you say all interchangeable does that mean only 18,20 and 25 or even up to say a 70hp? Reason is I found a whole motor thats a 70hp CHEAP and has a locked up power head but foot and everything else is good.

If you need a good lower unit for your Merc 20hp, let me know. I have 2 of them. Both short shafts in very good cond.
