Hi guys i have what i believe is a control problem on my 75 johnson 70 hp,
Pulled the boat out of storage to do some cleaning/ maintenace to get ready for summer, I knew it would need a battery charge but cranked it over anyway and it cranked over just kinda low from a low battery...in the meantime was messing with the controls while battery charged and the control wont go in reverse might need a new cable there, but after working the controls now it won't even crank over with a charged battery, it is in fact in neutral as prop spins freely but acts like the control thinks its in gear thus no power to crank
one other thing my buddy said he tried to crank it with the charger still on the battery, could this have fried something
