Mercury 75 7.5 hp will the water pump pick up water if it is missing the intake tube seal at the 90 degree section?

For test running in a bucket it might.-----But maybe not as it will suck the exhaust in.----Why is the tube missing ?-----What is the motor doing / not doing for you?

Well I ordered the tube and one seal and didn’t realize it used 2 seals and I couldn’t find anything that mentioned it used 2 of the same seal. Thanks for the feedback back I will order another seal for that location

I bought the motor and the guy said it wasn’t picking up water when I removed the lower I noticed the tube and both seals missing. But the engine runs and didn’t know it needed 2 seals
