"Hello. I am trying to replace my impeller and am having trouble removing the lower unit. I have removed all the bolts and it is pulled out about an inch but it seems to be hung up on something. there is a rod going through the motor, does this need to be detached?"

shift rod under carbs 7/16 soc

shift rod under carbs 7/16 socket with 3" extension.remove bolt "watch toes"
