"Thinking about getting "involved" in a '73 65hp. I've known this motor since it was new. I've ran this motor myself couple of times, it's ok. Have not looked into it at all. It's been sitting around for a couple of years, so I get the picture when it comes to getting it back to life. Just wondering if anyone had any history with one, good or bad."

I recently installed a 1972 65

I recently installed a 1972 65 hp johnson on my 16 ft fibure glass boat runs realy good now after a bit of tinkering with .I would do it again great motor so far
