What plugs should be used for

What plugs should be used for a 73 6hp. Right now I have J8c plugs. Gapped at .03
 
Also just wanted to know motor

Also just wanted to know motor does not seem to reach full rpm under load. I have had the carb apart and it seemed clean. I also tried to set the timeing of one set of breaker points. Motor starts and idles great. What would you suggest I revisit first the points or the carb to solve my low power problem. I have 9o psi and spark to both cyl.

Did you remove the ignition co

Did you remove the ignition coils to check for a " grounding to the magplate condition " check to see if you have spark that will jump a gap of 1/4" or more---that proves that you have spark.

"The coils are new, and spark will jump easily 1/4". But I still do not get full rpm, and as I said I have 90psi in both cylinders. I can not seem to find a problem. Any help would be appreciated.
