I'm curious if I need a manual to replace the impeller on my 1973 6hp Johnson?

"That depends on a couple of things - first can you figure out everything you need to unbolt or disconnect to get the lower unit off and then secondly, can you memorize where everything goes back.

It's not rocket science but there is a few pieces that need to go in the right order or you will have problems. I can change the impeller on some models with my eyes closed, but it's nice to look at the book (when they are open again) to confirm that I did it properly...."
