the motor turns over good,good compression but no spark at the plugs
any ideal where to start

i was told it could be the pu

i was told it could be the pulse pack these are
$300.00 to 400.00 any thing else i could check
before spending that much none of the coils are
fireing all the wires look good .could all 4 coils be bad ?
any help thanks dave

spark plug wires because it has multible coils
i guess i was told wrong that is why i got on this message board so icould get the right
answers thanks sparky for answering back i work on cars and motorcycles this is my first boat

" Hi dave. you and I have this in common!I just found this site and am also experiencing difficulties with my first boat, which has a 1972 50hp evinrude:ignition problems turn the key and it starts,stays running, but then next time I turn the key- nothing at all.(I couldnt find on the site where to start a new discussion)help!!I got my boat last summer and have already done alot of work on the motor, so maybe I can help you too! thanks,marie "
