" I lost my forward gear in my hydro electric shift,I have neutral and reverse only.Could the shift switch be the problem? If so where might I find a used one. I know the new ones a very pricy "
 
" The unit is spring loaded to

" The unit is spring loaded to go into forward gear.There is NO POWER to the solenoids when in forward.The problem may be dirt on the bore of the shift piston ,preventing the spring from pushing the clutch dog. Disconnecting the shift wire (green) will bypass the shift switch.These units are well engineered and work very well, but it may be a problem finding someone who "enjoys" working on them. "
