"We were just given a boat and can't get it started. The motor turns over but does not fire. The positive terminal on the coil gets ~8.5v when cranking. The coil, plugs and distributor cap look like they have just been replaced. I have also noticed that the blue wire on the terminal block goes directly to the positive terminal on the coil.
Any ideas???"
