if i put the flywheel on the wrong way would it damage my switch box . is there a way to check it. if so ,how

You must first confirm that you have the " correct flywheel " -----------------They are not " all the same "

You wouldn't hurt anything but your pride for buying the wrong flywheel (if that's the case). The center hub can be bolted to the thin metal deal in a variety of orientations, so you need to check. Pull the plugs, stick a screw driver in the top hole and rotate the flywheel until the piston is all the way up. Then see if the pointer is at the TDC mark on the flywheel.

PS: If you have no spark--and the flywheel is set up wrong--it would fire the plugs out of time, but it wouldn't still make spark.
