70hp jhonson plug wire confusion.

So im going to order new wires for my motor. according to the parts diagrams I need wire number 582365. Those wires are 9 inches long the wires on my engine are 5 inches long. I can't even find a 5 inch wire for my motor. so would you go back with the longer wire or find the 5 inch

I guess that wouldve been to easy. I found 6 inch jhonson wires il probably just buy them. when I made the post I didn't know they didn't sell the wires already made.
