70 hp engine swap

Have 1987 johnson 70HP and was wondering what year john/evin 70hp engines would be like for like swap[same cables and controls] just change motor. Thanks Walt

You are going to have to post the model # on this one to get accurate information for a powerhead swap out.-----------------If you are swapping out an entire motor then any motor with a big red plug on the wiring harness will work with your 87 control.
