"I have a 70 hp 1977 evinrude

"I have a 70 hp 1977 evinrude and when you choke it the butterflys dont go back like they were and you end up having to take the cowl off and pull choke back by hand. the choke selnoid is not holding it eiher, cant see why it wont go back anyone know. thanks"

"prob ,plunger is sticking,...

"prob ,plunger is sticking,...also,..unsnap.the lg rod that goes to carbs,..now spray wd40on all the ck butterflies,and wht nylon connections, and esp where the chk butterfly rod goes thru carbs,..then bleep the butterflies by hand to ensure looseness...there should also,be a sm spring,inside the choke solenoid,u can ever slightly,stretch it a little."
