I have just rebuilt the carb on this 88 6hp evinrude. The problem I am having is that while running, fuel is pouring out this hole in the top of the carburator. I checked that the float was seating the needle properly and replaced all the gaskets that came in the kit. Prior to installing the carb kit, I had the same problem. Below is a picture of the hole the fuel is comming out of. Any help would be great. Thanks! The hole is the one above the number 33 on the carb.
I realize the gasket looks a little pinched in this pic and have fixed that made sure the screws were torqued correctly and still same problem.
