Thanks for any help, it`s all appreciated

first do a compression test .

first do a compression test . always try to determine the overall health of the motor.Remove the bypass covers to inspect the piston and rings. No point spending time and money to tune a motor that is in bad shape. If it has not been done you might as well plan on installing 2 new ignition coils.

"Thanks, good advise, I`ll do

"Thanks, good advise, I`ll do that monday, I know the coils are good I`ve got bright blue spark and lots of it I don`t know if the time is right, but I`ll go there after the comp check
Thanks again,

"comp check done (105 and 115 lbs), a little tweek on the carbs has got rid of the marshmellow feeling on the throttle (not done there yet) but I still have a backfire, timing I supose, but don`t know how to fix that one yet.

Check to see where the throttl

Check to see where the throttle is actually opening. There is a scribe mark on the cam and the throttle should just start as it contacts the roller at that mark. It is an adjustment that " looks " wrong to the amatuer when it is actually correct.Same goes for the arm on the side the little barrel there does not always touch there either. Common mistake there as well.
