Is there any way to replace the shifting solenoids in the lower unit? The motor is stuck in FWD and will not shift. I have tried applying 12v to the green/blue wires running into the lower unit and then cranking the motor with no luck...
I have called a few places and they want big $$$ for parts and labor. Is this a task I can do myself? I am pretty mechanically inclined and am familiar (so far) with this outboard.
