"Looking for some input on purchasing a new 60HP E-Tech. dealer has qouted me $6,200 on the engine only, does this sound about right.

Prop is $390 and rigging is $400. will re-use cabling."

If you aren't dead set about getting a brand new motor, consider this....

The same engine 3 to 4 years old is selling for half that in the used market and a 60 horse in a 1999/2000 model year is barely selling for $2000.

Depending on the area/location they may not have seen very much use at all.....

Something else to think about - the resale value of these motors drops like stones in first few years...."
