I was hoping someone could help me troubleshoot my trim motor problem on Tracker with an 1984 60 HP merc. It started making intermittent grinding/howling noises and now it howls all the time and will barely lift.
I'm assuming the lift motor is bad. If so, how hard is it to replace? It looks like it may be a chore to remove.
