can anyone tell me the procdure for checking and setting the timing on a 1986 60 hp. thanks

link and sync is to involved just to explain. Timing doesn't change on these engines unless some one messes with them. A simple timing light on the top plug can check base timing. Suggest a manual for more involved work.
