Hi all boaters,
I am the owner of an Mariner/Mercury 60 EFI 2004 model. By keyturn/ignition, the throttlebuzzer beeps 6 times, indication either TPS og MAP sensor failure.
By connecting a workshop pc, it revealed a malfunction on the TPS sensor.
I changed the sensor, and the failure/beeps were gone....until i turned on the engine - now it´s back. The failure/beeps only changed from "keyturn/ignition" to engine -start.
Any suggestions as to what could be wrong? og how to proceed from here?
