Put my boat in the water for the first time this year and then it started misfiring. I had just picked it up from the shop two weeks ealier and had it tuned-up and all the fluids changed. I pulled off the top cover and noticed that a spark plug wire was loose. Put wire back on thinking this was problem, cranked it up and took off. After a few minutes it started running rough and misfiring at low speed.
Could the spark plug wire that was loose possibly damage something else, such as fouling the plug? Thanks for your assitance.
