6 months in Salt water

2002 tamd63 370hp. The boat has done the loop and been through salt water for 6 months. It has been in fresh water except this 6 month time frame. What are your thoughts on purchasing a boat like this?

If it's has been well maintained. I wouldn't worry too much about the 6 months at sea...I would be more worried about what the surveyor had to say...

I'm a Savannah Georgia boy. My boat has been run in the salt water for 26 years (1999 Yamaha 115), still in great shape! Salt don't hurt. Flush it out when you get out of the water and occasionally coat everything down with a spray of WD-40 and it'll last a long long time.
