"I'am thinking of buying this motor,but the gears slip,what causes this and is it exspensive to fix?.The guys says when he goes slow it does fine,but when he pushes on the gas the gears slip.I could use some good advice,thanks"

"The forward and reverse gear

"The forward and reverse gear on that engine can be switched BUT the shifter dog would require replacing (#305315). This is usually caused by slow shifting by the operator, OR and most likely, there is excessive play in the shift linkages. Expect becoming involved in working on this engine.
