So i have a J55APRL two stroke 55hp and have seem to have a domino effect of issues. After not getting spark I found that the primary coil had gotten severely damaged on the stator. On either end the thin stacked metal plates looked like a ham sandwich. Moving forward I replaced this part thinking that would be the end of the issue. However not long after replacing this part the spark lever part #432015 shattered. After thinking this was a just a coincidence I ordered a replacement that cost me $50 for 4" plastic part only for it to shatter after two pulls on the motor. Has anyone had an issue like this or could tell me what is wrong. From an amateur perspective it seems like the momentum of the flywheel is some how getting impeded by that piece shattering it.
