Current Boat: 1995 - Alumacraft 16' Lunker LTD
Current Engine: 1995 Mercury 30hp, 2cyl, 2cycle Sr # 0G209502
Useage: 65% fishing, 35% tube, skiing
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Would like to upgrade the engine to:
1980. 81, 82 Evenrude 55hp
I have been told this engine will not tolerate skiing/tubeing. The engine life will shortened by 1/2. We need a little more power to tube..
Is this a good idea?
