Need some advise! I started an

Need some advise! I started and ran this motor for the fist time for one hour with no problem. After that the power cut into half as if it was running on one carb then shut off and won"t start back. After letting is sit for an hour it started up but won't stay idle. I have spark on both cylinder.It appear the carb was rebuild before getting the boat. I took it apart it was very clean inside the bowl. I noticed there was no adjusting screw for the gas in low speed port jut the plug screw (could this be a problem). I sprayed some quick start in the carbs and it take a few crank to start and die off. Any suggestion it appreciated

No both needle on the carb is moving. I tried starting again and when i sprayed quick start on the top carb the engine rpm jump up run smooth on the bottom carb the enging shut off. I gap the plugs .040. spark is good on both cylinder

"Susie if you have spark all the time and the compression of your motor is good...you still have a fuel problem, the carbies can look clean inside but they have passeges and jets which could be blocked.

There are three curcuits in the carbies...idle...intermidiate and high speed, you need to ensure they are all clear.

If you are unsure take the carbies to a boat repair shop and get them to clean them out."
