Im a new owner of a fresh rebuilt (in 1967) 25HP BigTwin. I plan to replace the fuel lines, impeller and do a carb job to be safe over the winter but have a question. I need new double lines and want to use a very small non pressure tank on my Hydro so can i instal a mikuni type two stroke fuel pump to the pressure port on the carb and run a single line style tank with a pressure ball to prime?
This engine was rebuilt and run 30 mins in 67 then stores and oiled every year in a garage under a blanket. Turns over nice and I am sure I need to run a rich mixture and run it in easy but it appears perfect.

There's a bit more to it than that. Do a search on here for converting to a fuel pump. It's not hard, just have to pull the carb and intake manifold, and do a bit of work inside the manifold. I honestly don't know if the Mikuni will supply enough fuel for the 25, most of the conversions I've seen are on 10's and under.

Well the engine is 35 cubes and lots of snow mobile engines are more then that so I figured one of those may work.
My model #25012
