I'm trying to get alittle

I'm trying to get alittle more speed and power out of a 2008 50hp four stroke yamaha. Can you make this a 60 hp?

10 more hp isn't going to

10 more hp isn't going to amount to anything noticable for speed. Also don't expect any warranty with modifications to that 2008. Manufacturers just love getting easy way outs for warranty claims.

I should be getting max rpm's. It is set up like it came from the factory. I think it has a 14 pitch prop. The motor does not sound like it is in a bind.

I have no idea. Motor runs good. I'm just trying to get alittle more speed out of it to beat my buddy who has the same set up. On the none fuel injected all you had to do was change the carb. I was wondering what you could do on fuel injection.

"Todd dont play with the engine, get a tacho and check your revs there may be room for improvement through correct prop selection and boat trim...or buy a bigger engine"
