50hp Evinrude 1972 model no spark

Hi guys. I have a 72 model 50hp evinrude that I have been repairing. It initially had a fuel issue and with great advice from this forum we got it running. Then after we had it running the next day came out to start it before taking it down to the water and it wouldn't start. Initially thought May be the fuel again but due to everything fuel related being new that was easy to rule out. On further checking I have no spark ? Not sure why. It did have it and was running well then next day no spark. I'm confused. The motor has new coils, spark plugs, trigger and battery cables. Can anyone advise how to test the stator and power pack ? Or any advice on where else to start? I am soo keen to get this boat in the water and have a good play. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the advice guys. I have disconnected the yellow wire and nothing different happened? Should it? Should it be on the top left of the power pack? I only have a yellow wire not a black/yellow.

Apologies guys I meant top right and yes nothing happens when removed. Still cranks just won't spark over.
