Greetings:
New to me is a 2005 50hp four stroke Mercury (50 ELPT4S). It idles at 1000-1100 rpm. The dealer couldn't slow it down.
Additionally, it is very difficult to adjust to a speed between idle and ~2000 rpm. It wants to leap from idle to ~2500.
Any advice or reader with one of these engines?
